Halm Industries' Color Creator automatically doses spot colors to make mixing a faster, cleaner job, and to ensure standardization for corporate colors and reprints. It uses up to 15 base colors and doses spot colors from 2 g to 2.5 kg in minutes.

Since our clients rely on us to maintain a superior standard of customer service, turnaround and workmanship, the new Color Doser allows us to reduce costs by shortening setup times and managing color more effectively…in short, we can be cheaper, faster and better while improving the color consistency of our printed products.

The system allows customers to choose the number of pumps and size of barrels needed, is Pantone-licensed and -certified, and can be connected directly to Gretag ink formulation software.

In our pursuit of an environmentally-friendly workplace, one of the reasons we invested in the Color Creator Ink Doser was to minimize the wasted and disposed ink that we were managing. Below is a picture of the ink storage area that we needed to maintain. It represented an environmental risk because of the large quantity of old inks, container leakage potential and cleanup chemicals that we had to have on hand. We eliminated all of these areas and improved the quality of our products at the same time.
