Cindy Roche earns prestigious Northeastern Award:
"Academic Excellence in their Accounting Program"

Bay State Envelope is proud to congratulate Cindy on the well-deserved achievement! Cindy, who is our Administrative Manager and Human Resources Manager, has been with us since 1987. For that last few years on a part time basis, she attended Northeastern University's BS/BA Accounting program in their School of Professional and Continuing Studies.

Cindy was recognized as "First in her Class" for the Accounting Program.

So many PINE members are to be commended for their insight in  recognizing the value of training employees. It is never easy to  select the one company who will receive the  “Unfaltering Dedication to Education” Award and this year was  no exception.

Ultimately, the winner emerged and we recognize that company for their  commitment to the advancement and competency of their employees. Bay State Envelope demonstrates their dedication to education by  encouraging employees to partake of varied educational opportunities  offered within in the industry. 

Bay State employees take advantage of PINE programs, as well as training available through other resources.  100% tuition reimbursement is available to employees who seek to advance themselves and Bay State Envelope by pursuing a degree in a  field related to their job.   

Bay State Envelope has clearly illustrated their unfaltering dedication to  education and PINE is pleased to present them with this award.

In other news, Russ Frizzell was voted to a three year term on PINE's Board of Directors.

EPP Award 2004 Awarded to Bay State Envelope

The Environmental Purchasing and Sustainability Awards are presented every fall at the EPP Vendor Fair and Conference.

The awards are conferred at a ceremony attended by hundreds of participating state, county, and local purchasers and administrators, school business managers, and recycling coordinators.

The first Buy Recycled Awards were presented in 1996 at the Second Annual Buy Recycled Vendor Fair and Conference. The awards recognized outstanding efforts in closing the recycling loop. 

By 1999, the scope of the awards broadened to recognize initiatives aimed at purchasing other environmentally  preferable (e.g. energy efficient, water conserving, less toxic, etc.) products and services.

 2004 Papercone Award to Bay State Envelope

For nearly four decades Papercone has served the industry as a manufacturer of specialty envelopes. Recently, Bay State Envelope was given the prestigious Papercone Award in recognition of their longstanding loyalty as a valued customer.

The relationship between Papercone and the current owners of Bay State Envelope goes back way before there was a Bay State Envelope...Russ Frizzell and Jim Skogseth had done business with them for several years before forming Bay State Envelope. Papercone recognizes their premier customers with this award and Bay State is very proud to be honored.
