For many years, we have been providing our customers with excellent customer service. Our Customer Service team has a collective 80+ years of experience in the envelope and printing fields. This extensive knowledge base is important because we are able to answer your questions quickly and accurately.

How do we maintain our 99.2% On-Time Delivery Rate? One of the reasons is we hold daily production meetings and every critical department is present: Shipping, Customer Service, Production, Pre-Press, General Manager and Operations. We discuss priorities, maintenance schedules, production efficiencies, staffing issues and customer requirements...all so we can make sure we meet our commitments.

Each Bay State Envelope Customer Service specialist knows their customers like family and go to extraordinary lengths to serve them. If special shipping requirements or packaging restrictions are needed, they are explained in detail so we deliver what we promise. We want to earn your trust every time you call on us.

 

All orders are entered into our planning software system so it can be tracked and updated instantly. All rush orders are tagged so that everyone in the organization is aware of the critical timing of these orders. 

Reorders are a breeze over the phone, by email or over the web. All custom orders are reviewed by Customer Service to make sure we have all of the files, colors and paper-types identified early.

Even though we have always provided above-average customer service, we recently invested in a brand new Inter-Tel phone system.

The goal was to make it even easier to do business with Bay State Envelope, and we have already seen an increase in the level of our customer service and have received many positive comments about our system. The Digital T1 Line allows us to receive your transferred files much faster so we can begin the Pre-Press work sooner. In addition, communicating project updates and shipping information between our Customer Service and our customers is much faster than ever.

Our Administrative team supports the entire company!


In the first few years of our history, we realized that as our customer base continued to grow, we needed to support the company with a full staff of Administrative experts to keep the company running smoothly.

We have added staff in payroll, HR, Account records and contracts. Not only do they assist our customers to understand order history, past order details and act as the record-keeping arm of the Sales and Production teams, they assist in Customer Service and planning by providing the latest data and figures for any of our customers.

At the same time, we invested heavily in the best tools for them to do the best job possible. This included a full network of PCs and file servers with the right software to handle our growth.

As such, for many years we have used accounting and business modules from Best Software. This investment has paid many dividends in many areas, like sales, customer service, inventory management and operations management. 

The Best software modules allow us to find answers to our customer's questions very quickly and accurately. In addition, we can process re-orders much quicker than before, in as little as a few seconds, versus many times that in the recent past.
