What is UV Printing and what does it mean? UV Printing uses visible light to polymerize a combination of "monomers" and "oligomers", contained within the ink, into a substrate. What that really means is the specially formulated UV inks are cured the instant they are exposed to ultraviolet light. UV Printing allows us to print on a variety of stocks including coated, translucent, specialty papers such as Flashcoat and smooth papers without any set-off, even with heavy coverage.

UV Printing provides many benefits over other forms of printing. When it comes to intangibles such as gloss, feel, protective qualities and scuff resistance, UV-printed products are often seen as a superior alternative to traditionally printed products. It means more scheduling freedom to meet faster turnaround times, because you can print and ship in one shift.
